I that they should not place stiff controls on goods that compete with U.S. trades because this would cause many problems with the U.S. trade system which includes many other countries. Many of the countries would not like the change of the trade which will eventually stop. Therefore the U.S will lose money and not recieve goods that they used to recieve from other countries.

i believe that u.s should place stiff controls on imporst and goods because of the exporting of american jobs. If their are tariffs, than it would help jobs in the US because people would start buying their own products and businesses would start doing better. with that being said since the US imports from more than 180 countries than having the tariffs would be a bad thing because the goods would cost more for the people. this may result in consumers not buying foreign products which could eventually conclude in a disastrous economy..

Placing stiff controls on imports of goods would not probably be a success because it can effect the trade we have with the other countries. Therefore we wouldnt have as many goods being imported into the U.S. because it also can effect the relationship we have with them also.

they shouldn't place stiff controls on imports of goods to compete with businesses to prevent the "exporting of American jobs" to other countries because this would have a major effect on the people who are working in America and their would be less imported goods ???

To me it seems like it shouldn't be stiff controls on the goods. simply because America is a mainly import country. If stiff controls happen then im pretty sure the country will suffer worse beause we wont have any good that are imported from other countries such a China. And with the exporting of jobs, if someone else wants to do the work that American citizens dont want to do, let them do it.

Some people believe that the US should place stiff controls on imports of goods the compete with US businesses to prevent the "exporting of American jobs" to other countries. Give arguments for and against such a position. My Argument is that the economy is bad enough as it. So globalization shouldn't take place. Giving jobs just because it's cheaper is not helping. The government should just keep paying us.

PLACING STIFF CONTROLS ON IMPORTS AND EXPORTS WOULD BE GOOD FOR THE U.S. BECAUSE IT WOULD PREVENT OTHER COUNTRIES FROM PROFITING ON OUR EXPORTED AND IMPORTED GOODS.

PLACING STIFF CONTROL ON TRADE CAN BE HARMFUL TO THE ECONOMY BECAUSE WE RELY ON IMPORTS. IF WE HAVE NO COMPETITION THEN WE WILL BE WORKING HARD FOR NOTHING AND WE'LL BE EXHAUSTED

putting stiff controls on imported good would hurt the US. prices would rise on imported goods so consumers would buy less.

For: Putting stiff control over the imports of goods would greatly affect the competition between national businesses.
Against: Although it couldn't be beneficial due to the economical damage of importing over exporting. The other country has to find another area to import the goods.

The issue is mainly protection and protection trade policies. Stiff controls over imports and exports is essential for the U.S. in order for us to gain profit & to keep our jobs/careers. Exporting jobs is a natural occurance of going from a manufacturing economy to an information economy.

I believe that the US should not place stiff controls on imports of goods the compete with US business to prevent the exporting of American jobs to other countries. because it will make us lose more of our jobs and we will also have less imports because other countries are using things that the US has.

they should place stiff control on import of goods because if they import too much good the country would depend on them to keep sending goods. even though it is good for the economy it may also be bad for it later. also i dont think that they should compete with other U.S businesses to prevent the exporting of american jobs to other country because doing that develop the businesses and if the businesses are developing they would want to hire more people. and the GDP would increase.

I disagree with US having to place stiff controls on imports of goods even if it competes with US businesses to prevent "export of American jobs' to other countries. Globalization shouldn't take place. Giving jobs just because it's cheaper is not helping. They should be helping our people not hindering us.
